Instant estimates are indicative

The figure the quote tool gives you is an indicative estimate, not a formal quote. A registered building surveyor reviews your details and confirms an official quote before anything is final. The final fee can differ once we have the full details of your project.

Quote validity

A confirmed quote is valid for 30 days from the date we issue it. If your project changes, the fees may need to be reviewed.

Fees, levy and lodgement

Our professional fee includes GST. Government and authority charges are separate: the building permit levy is set by the State Government on work over $10,000 and must be paid before the permit is issued, and the council lodgement fee is payable to your council. These are shown separately, or excluded from the estimate, as noted in the quote.
